This online community exists to assuage fears, create unity and friendship, organize people and events with shared goals, and to be good neighbors.

Things Are Not As They Used To Be…

Let’s face it: we Conservatives are under-represented and under threat, either from political carelessness and incompetence, or from crime and neglect. Our self-described “woke” mayor doesn’t much care about us. The New Orleans City Council is filled with Leftists. The District Attorney practiced only defense law. The new sheriff can’t manage the jail she’s got.

They’ll label The BEC a “dog whistle.” (Only they seem to hear it.)

James Carville, local resident and national Democratic strategist, calls us “stupid low-quality people.”

And even the President is getting in on the demonization. With deliberate malice he criminalizes us as “semi-Fascists” who “hold a dagger to the throat of our democracy.”

They are wrong about us.

The Big Easy Conservative intends to change things: it’s time to demand a seat at the table by bringing our own chair and elbowing our way into the conversation! We love this country and we love this region of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans!

We want what benefits everyone! We want everyone to thrive!

Conservative beliefs are joyful!

We look toward the future with hope and inspiration. 
Simply put, our ideas are better, and we know it! 
It is time to affirm those ideas, and assertively so: 
properly, appropriately, peacefully and neighborly.
