People of The BEC need to show up bigtime today, voting NO on the money request from Sheriff Susan Hutson, and voting FOR Judge Simone Levine.

It’ll take you just a minute to pull those two levers, but it’s quite important. Turnout is often quite low on a day like today; only a few votes will swing each of these items.

Levine’s opponent, Leon Roche, while a nice guy to speak with, is not the judge we need on the bench; Levine centers more on the impact of crime on victims.

He ambushed an incumbent on a powerful but little-known commission with millions in out-of-state funding, giving Big Renewable a foothold in Louisiana government. He’s a self-absorbed narcissist suffering from Napoleon Complex who posts far too many pictures of himself - only himself - on far too many social media sites. He’s a Marxist Trojan Horse, the functionary of a strategy that seeks to work around the legislature and obligate the state to unreliable and ill-fitted energy production systems. He’s a threat to our economy.
