Legislature correspondent Julie O’Donoghue reports:
I’ll keep you appropriately posted. Fingers crossed, but I’m worried this won’t make it.
In completely different news, I need your help, friends.
I have three interviews that I’ve completed and recorded. They are all rather long, and I’ve previously simply listened with head phones and transcribed interviews. But it’s such a very long process…
I’ve now made three attempts using software to convert sound to text, but though they type a lot of words on their own, they still leave me with huge re-writing.
If you have some inside scoop, please mention it in the comments? I’m happy to purchase quality software, but I’m inexperienced in this regard.
One interview is with Scott McKnight, running for state treasurer. I’d like to get that up at the end of the legislative session, when the campaigning really heats up.
The others are with Louisiana Save Our Schools and with Sheriff Joe Lopinto of Jefferson Parish.
All you wonderful people have been a help before… I’d welcome guidance or advice.
The well of gratitude runs deep… thank you to everyone who reads and supports The Big Easy Conservative.
