One-Fifth of the LA Public Service Commission Is Going to "Make You" See Him, "Make You" Hear Him
You homophobe lizard-brained deplorables....
A reminder to the bigots who have forgotten -or worse, don’t care - that Davante Lewis is oppressed.
As Louisiana’s state-wide first openly gay official, elected to the Public Service Commission with $2 million in “Dark Money” support from contributors spread throughout the country, Davante Lewis endures his suffering with dignity, never calling attention to himself or to his plight.
He copes with silent and tremendous courage; he’ll assure you of that if you were to ask him.
Pride Month oppresses Davante. Sitting on the board that determines the power you have available to you in your home and business oppresses Davante, too. Scolding the CEO of a large utility company oppresses him. Being sought out by every Democrat politician in the state for his endorsement and opinion is unbearably oppressive for him, also. And let’s not even consider the ugliness of taking a flight to M.I.T. to speak at a conference there.
In addition to the oppressive horrors of Pride Month, pile on these other days, weeks, and months of note that oppress Davante, as well as everyone like him…
National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week National LGBT Health Awareness Week International Transgender Day of Visibility Day of Silence Against LGBTQ+ Bullying Lesbian Visibility Day International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia Harvey Milk Day Pulse Night of Remembrance International Drag Day Celebrate Bisexuality Day LGBT History Month National Coming Out Day International Pronouns Day Spirit Day Asexuality Awareness Week Intersex Awareness Day Intersex Day of Remembrance Transgender Awareness Week Transgender Day of Remembrance and World AIDS Day
So to right the wrong and ‘set you straight’ Davante defiantly risked his life and posed for this photograph in that most dangerous of locations: the State Capitol building. His oppression being so very obvious in this photo, heart-broken for him as we are, we just had to share this with you, and chide you for your willingness to erase him.
From where does he muster the courage and strength to overcome? How does he, a mere mortal, do it? It’s a superpower!
You don’t know the fighter you’re picking on, Mister!
Now go kneel on rice in the corner and reflect on what you’ve done to Davante, you homophobic bigots.
