One-Fifth Of The LA Public Service Commission Believes Climate Change Causes Lost Sleep
"The Commish" never disappoints...
“Is this satire?” we wondered.
No, it is not, as “The Most Holy Man In Louisiana,” Davante Lewis, presents this in all seriousness:
A few months ago, Davante informed us that AirBnB is causing climate change. Now, climate change is causing you to lose sleep. So the transitive property would suggest that AirBnB, ironically, is causing sleep loss.
Who knew?
The Washington Post - where evidently both sleep and “Democracy Die In Darkness” - has published a masterpiece.
Writer Kasha Patel reached all the way back to 2015 to report on a guy who couldn’t sleep during a “heat wave” in San Diego with temperatures in the mid-70s.
The mid-70s, you see, is a “heat wave” that caused sleepless nights. In San Diego. In 2015.
Realize, of course, that what’s important here is not that you or I get a chuckle over this. What’s important is that Davante Lewis, 1/5th of the independent energy regulating agency in the state of Louisiana, believes this stuff and considers it perilous to your well-being.
Davante Lewis determines your access to energy, how that energy is produced, distributed, and priced.
The article mentions loss of sleep when we change our clocks, and also reminds us: “But dozing off for too long is also unhealthy.”
Something does tire Davante, though. Perhaps he should ponder on racism to fall asleep during Climate Change:
One only wonders how anyone can know this, but Davante tells us that 40% of Baton Rouge residents and 38% of New Orleans residents are sleeping less because of climate change.
I have said it before and I will say it again: Davante Lewis is this state’s single most dangerous politician. The Divine Trinity of Black-Gay-Marxist is seemingly everywhere, commenting on everything, sought out by every Democrat politician. And his six-year term on the Public Service Commission has only begun.
He surely has very high aspirations, already being planned. And this, in itself, is causing us to lose sleep.
