New Orleans City Council President JP Morrell Hosting Coffee Conversations...
Meet the council president over a cup of coffee
All credit to City Council President JP Morrell, who, by all appearances, is an open and available council member serving the public of New Orleans. Though I’ve never met him, he seems an easy conversationalist and after having witnessed proceedings of council meetings, he’s undoubtedly a man of unlimited patience.
Depending on your schedule and where you live, the bec encourages you to get out and speak with Mr. Morrell. Talk to him about your concerns and ideas, hear him on his own. Challenge him or support him, but we all need to work together in the fight to save our city.
The first meeting begins at 8:30 and is to be held at 1030 Elysian Fields, near the corner of Elysian and St. Claude Avenue and is THIS THURSDAY, the 9th of February.
The second meeting is next Monday, coming soon, in the Gentilly neighborhood, close to Lake Pontchartrain and near to the University of New Orleans campus.
The third announced coffee meeting is in the East on 6th March.
We encourage attendance for all concerned citizens. This is a wonderful way to meet a prominent city leader and talk with him.
