In One Graphic, How to Waste Over One Trillion Dollars
If only this money had been invested wisely and productively...
Any significant investment in “Green Energy” distracts from the essential need to build out the fleet of nuclear energy production facilities we all need to meet ever-growing energy demand.
There aren’t enough roofs to cover in solar panels that will meet the need. There aren’t enough spinning razor blades you can hoist into the sky to meet the need. And there absolutely cannot be enough batteries produced, ever, to hold enough of a power charge to heat Chicago in January or cool New Orleans in July.
From Bloomberg, we see a waste of a trillion dollars. And not merely money wasted, but this is money misspent, as this sort of damaging distraction leaves all of us capital-deprived and energy-deprived, too.
“Green Energy” will enrich bankers and billionaires, while the rest of us will be forced to do without natural gas heating, traditional light bulbs, and internal combustion engines.
This planet-wide grift must be challenged, every day and in every way.
I appeal to the leadership of the state Republican Party to abandon the “all of the above” energy philosophy that guides your thinking. “Renewables” are simply unreliables; they will not lower the temperature of the planet in a century’s time; they will not reduce CO2 emissions; and they won’t stop the weather from behaving like… well, the weather.
We've calculated it's around $5 trillion by western nations over the last 20 odd years.
In the U.S., tens of billions to spinning green crucifixes instead of nuclear. We laid out some of the subsidies on a per megawatt hour basis in this piece back in January > https://envmental.substack.com/p/sacrificing-humanity-on-the-green-766
