Do Any Men Run Anything In New Orleans Anymore?
With All Respect To Women in Politics, We're Simply Struck By the Leadership Profiles in New Orleans...
Every major position in city government is held by a woman. To be very clear, I'm suggesting nothing at all about women's capabilities or qualifications as individuals. The BEC respects women, their service in government and family and everywhere! Look at the composition of local leadership and be very candid in your thoughts.
New Orleans City Council President Helena Moreno…
The recently elected Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson…
Captain Gwen Nolan of NOPD’s 5th District, which includes the Ninth Ward… and behind her the head of CrimeStoppers, Darlene Cusanza.
Mayor LaToya Cantrell with a French dude…
“Interim” Police Chief Michelle Woodfork…
Equity-promoting Dr. Avis Williams joyfully runs the government schools excellently.
We’re not doubting anyone’s singular qualifications by pointing out that there’s a concentration of ‘Women Energy’ in New Orleans Leadership positions.
We have great respect for women like Renee Amar of LA Women Lead, and Senator Sharon Hewitt. And we suspect even they would not wish for such gender-homogeneity in a focused local leadership group, particularly when the ideological glue between these women is as tight a bond as is their gender.
And about that national search for a permanent police chief:
It’s quite impossible that straight white highly-qualified men will be considered for the position. Imagine if he were religious, married and had three homeschooled kids! That demographic is effectively forbidden from consideration for the job.
Our city is just so broken, and the distinctly Leftist black political woman is breaking it, she and her allied anti-racist white Transgressives, and their damaging and dangerous groupthink of ‘Equity’ and ‘Racial Justice.’
