Since my conception of the ‘Curated Viewing List’ for subscribers, I’ve tried to expose you to points of view, or debates, or straight facts and information. We’ve seen historical footage and short stories rendered on film.
Here, however, I’m passing along to you a view of a place… different from any previous CVL.
Take a virtual tour of the concentration camp at Auchwitz here.
Like everyone, I’ve read about Auchwitz, learned of the atrocities committed. I’ve seen still photographs of the suffering endured there. But I’ve never toured it. And until seeing these interactive and panoramic views, I had no real idea what the place looked like.
See inside the buildings, move through the camp. Read about each location as you view it. Imagine what it must have been like.
You’ll see how the camp looks today, and it’s frightening to realize what you’re looking at: a place people were brought to to be killed.
The camp serves as a testimony to the fallen state of humanity.
God bless the victims and the descendants of victims of this place and too many others.
