Robert Bryce is among the brightest lights in global energy. Articulate, brilliant… Bryce has developed a large following (the bec among them) over the years, and it’s gratifying to see his message spread on one of the largest platforms in the world: the Jordan B Peterson Podcast.
I recommend this interview to you very highly…

Robert Bryce Addresses the Battery Production Problems Associated with Solar/Wind/Battery Energy Systems
Energy writer and thinker Robert Bryce has had trouble this morning distributing his most recent Substack post, as Twitter is perhaps blocking him. In an effort to offer support and to spread the contents of his work more widely, I am reproducing Mr. Bryce’s post entirely.
As Germans Close Last Nuclear Facilities, They Dismantle Wind Farm To Allow For Expansion of Coal Mine, EVICTING Residents of a Town and DEMOLISHING It
With “renewables” coming hard to Louisiana, expect perversions in reality to infect our state as they’re infecting other places, namely Germany… The mastery of the world wide web allows us the opportunity to watch events in Germany in real time from way over here in Louisiana. One would hope this privilege would inspire us to avoid the mistakes of the German Green Party and their supporters in government.
So If Not Solar/Wind/Battery, What?
Let’s begin at the end, the end of one of the bec’s most-read posts: The ultimate question about this entire project remained not only unasked but unimagined: Why are any wind farms needed in the Gulf of Mexico when the intermittent, unreliable, and expensive energy they produce, along with damage to the Gulf itself, are all replaceable and avoidable by simply constructing a Small Modular Reactor nuclear power station, providing constant, low-cost, reliable electricity to the Gulf Coast?
"But What About the Solar Panels On My Roof?" and "I Really Like Driving My New Tesla!"
A few days ago The BEC took a hard stance on the production of energy: solar and wind are ersatz energy production systems that should be abandoned and replaced with SMRs, Small Modular Nuclear Reactors, which are compact, feasible, scalable, reliable, very safe, and affordable.
