Somehow I caught this short film when I was a child, guessing it aired on the PBS channel. (These were the days of only four channels.)
A short film adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s “All Summer In A Day,” this story will never leave you.
Beautifully scored, skillfully written, with perfect direction, I offer it to you, along with its many messages of hope and anticipation, longing, childhood spite, wonder, the miracle of the Earth, and the even-greater miracle of forgiveness.
Ray Bradbury is my favorite author. He lived in Los Angeles during some of its most turbulent times. He knew what you are facing in New Orleans.
