Chris Dier, 2020 Louisiana Teacher of the Year, Proud of His Students For Walking Out of His Class Friday
"As teachers, we must always stand in solidarity with our students."
Students at Benjamin Franklin High School staged a walk-out of classes this past Friday in support of the well-publicized ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.” Hundreds assembled in front of the school, in an event not sanctioned by the administration.
Taking a position contrary to school policy, among the students’ enthusiastic supporters was social studies teacher Chris Dier, the 2020 Louisiana Teacher of the Year, who has publicly stated that he “couldn’t be more proud” and wrote, “As teachers, we must always stand in solidarity with our students.”
We find this curious, to say the least:
Anyone who remembers the sane times — like, just a few years ago — will wonder if a teacher who encourages students to walk out of class in a gesture opposed by the administration might receive a mark on his record.
Don’t be so naive, friends. We’ve abandoned sanity regarding children; Mr Dier, we’re certain, has nothing to fear regarding a reprimand.
We did challenge the accomplished teacher, however, when we questioned him through social media on the limits of “always standing with students.” Does he have any limiting principles?
Fifteen-year olds are hardly known to be societal paragons of logic and reason, so we wonder if Mr Dier would take a more nuanced approach if the students were demanding a healthy ear be removed, or a healthy finger?
If healthy breasts… he’s proud of them and stands with them, always.
If puberty blockers are administered to a child… he stands with them, always!
So where are his boundaries, we wonder.
Indeed, we wonder where any of our society’s boundaries have gone, and our inquiry is especially pointed as we learned last week that hospitalizations for pediatric suicidal behavior increased by 163% over the past 11 years.
Does Mr Dier “stand with his students” if they attempt suicide, as an ever-increasing number of them are attempting?
Set aside the physical realities of this gender confusion for a moment. Set aside the removal of healthy breasts. Set aside the procedure where the penis is inverted and pushed inside the body cavity in an effort to recreate a vagina. Set aside the puberty blockers. Set aside stripping the skin off the arm and using it to build a fake penis to be attached to a young woman. Set aside all of it for a moment. And consider just this:
The Louisiana Teacher of the Year is teaching his students that objective TRUTH is not objective truth. He’s teaching them that what they see of their own bodies is to be questioned. He’s teaching the teenagers entrusted to his care that they’re born into the “wrong body.” That to be a woman, a young man merely needs to believe he’s a woman, despite never having been a woman, never experiencing a monthly period, never having considered a future as a mother. Never having been a girl.
This now qualifies as “Teacher of the Year” material in our culture.
Though our Godless culture is sick to its core, one small first step in finding our collective sanity again would be not simply a reprimand for Mr. Dier, but the immediate termination of the 2020 “Teacher of the Year.” This won’t happen, of course, because our society has gone absolutely insane, and certainly, the students would stage a non-sanctioned walk-out in his defense.
And their teachers would be “proud” of them for it and would “stand with them, always.”
Postscript:
Mr Dier responded to our inquiry:
“Always” in the context of civil rights (which is implied), especially when the ideology driving the fight for civil rights is backed by quantifiable science.
Needless to say, we fully disagree with Mr Dier and reiterate our call for his immediate termination.
History has shown that there has been teeming tomes of bad science that has had to be thrown out the window. Medical science has past its peak in our lifetimes and is sliding dangerously toward being bad science, as the recent pandemic and forced vaccinations have shown.
Social Science is now just a brainwashing tool used to raise generations of fools.
All fields of science are now driven by government funding, investment groups and industries seeking only profits. (Who knows what the government is looking to get out of it.) Finding truth is no longer the driving factor in research. Money is, no matter if it produces good science or bad science.
He seems nice...
