There's No Longer a "Progressive" Left
An Apt Description
The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro displays a rare command of language. Descriptive and articulate, Shapiro speaks fast and thinks faster, and today Ben has suggested an apt change in the understanding of America’s Left, a change The BEC will employ moving forward.
Progressive no more, Ben Shapiro offers a far more accurate description: Transgressive
“I want to re-term what the Left is now. They’ve called themselves, falsely, ‘progressive’ for generations, and what they really are is transgressive. All they want to do is tear down all the institutions; they want to transgress.
Transgression is the point. Everything has to be torn down, and it has to be torn down so you can be liberated on the inside, and the destruction is not the bug, it’s the feature.
“They’re the ‘Transgressives’ and they have to train the kids in this mentality, because you can’t tell a normal human being that it’s good to destroy all the things that human beings rely upon. You have to take kids, who are ‘tabula rasa’ and don’t understand any of the institutions, you have to tell them their greatest happiness is to be found in joining the mob and tearing things down.
“You wonder why they are doing things like Drag Queen Story Hour, why do they target the kids, why can’t they leave it for adults? The whole point is they’re building an entire generation of people who are going to engage in this. When we talk about grooming, it’s not grooming for sex, it’s grooming for ideology.”
We Conservatives — those of us here at The BEC, surely — stand firm against the transgressive Left. We oppose them, we do not merely disagree or differ with them. We actively seek to shrink their influence, to devalue their worldview. We intend to limit their power in government, in schools, in media. We stand with and within institutions that affirm traditional gender, gender roles, the family, parenting, and the enduring right of parents to inculcate worthy values and beliefs in their children.
The Transgressives have been enabled to destroy too much, for too long, in too many places. They must be halted in their destructive splurges. And right now.
It’s actually terrifying how aggressively they are targeting our children. So many will literally not understand what women and men are.
