A Suffering Soul: Man Jumps From Crescent City Connection
Large police presence; search and rescue underway
More sad news to report as within this past hour a man jumped from the bridge spanning the Mississippi River in New Orleans.
This writer was travelling from East Bank to West as police vehicles rushed to the scene atop the structure.
Down below, police with binoculars scan the surface of the water; boats are out and a helicopter can be heard as well.
Please pray for this soul. For the great many in our city and our society for whom the burdens have become simply too much to bear.
A great many more will be joining this man in making this final choice as the unraveling of our civilization continues at a quickened pace… prayer, active service to others, an open heart and a charitable spirit… we need these now more than ever.
